Heaven's Formosa

The Heavens Formosa is a premium example of what is widely referred to as a “milk oolong”. Many imitations use added oils to achieve something near the rich caramel and buttery sensation of this tea. Our Heavens Formosa is 100% flavored naturally by the unique growing conditions from where this tea calls home. Growing in a dense sea of fog, the plant is forced to produce the aroma we taste, as a way of attracting pollinators to its blooming flowers, hidden in the dense fog. The intricate and delicate flavors melt together into a delectable cup of tea. The milky, buttery aroma is the floral notes of the oolong enhanced and compounded by a selection of the cultivar, the unique growing region, and picked just at the right time. This creates the unique and rich quality that true “milk” oolongs like Heavens Formosa are renowned for.
